Our goal is to provide you with high quality treatment that is also affordable and fits your budget. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs and accept payment by cash, credit card, or automatic bank draft.

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. We accept assignment from most insurance plans, and we will file the necessary claims to submit to your insurance company. We are an in-network provider for many major insurance companies. Please be aware that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you. If your benefits change during the course of treatment, you will be responsible for all charges.

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved especially for you. We will provide a courtesy telephone reminder call 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We understand that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. Please let us know in advance if you need to cancel your appointment.

Regular Appointments

Orthodontic appliances must be monitored and adjusted at regular intervals for treatment to proceed as planned. When orthodontic treatment begins, you will typically be seen once every 6-10 weeks.

For the majority of your appointments, all that is required is a relatively short visit to check or adjust the orthodontic appliances. Occasionally, for placement of appliances or other more involved construction appointments, a longer appointment may be required. In order to accommodate as many patients as possible during the highly requested times of after-school and after-work, we reserve these times for short appointments only. The longer appointments will need to be scheduled during school and work hours. In this way we do not reserve an entire afternoon for a few patients, but we are able to accommodate as many patients as possible.

Late or Missed Appointments

Because our schedule is carefully planned in advance, arriving late or missing your appointment can create a problem. Out of consideration for the time of our other scheduled patients, we may not be able to fit in a late arrival into the schedule. We will most likely have to reschedule the appointment unless there is an opening in the schedule that we had not expected. All failed or late appointments should be rescheduled as soon as possible. The after-school and after-work appointments are scheduled several weeks in advance, so it may be necessary to reschedule the missed appointment during the middle of a weekday so that we may see you in a timely manner.

Emergency Appointments

If you have an orthodontic emergency, please call the office to let us know immediately before you come in. This will give us the chance to assess the problem and determine the appropriate amount of time needed for your visit. Our goal is to accommodate you as soon as possible based upon the urgency of the situation. Please understand that we may need to appoint you during weekday hours so that we may have enough time set aside in our schedule to correct the problem.
